To curate a visual identity for a vegetarian restaurant that communicates freshness without falling into the trap of generic "green leaf" clichés. The brief demanded a brand that felt organic yet fast-paced, aligning with their service model.
02 / The Solution
We established an "Organic Zest" visual language. The system relies on the interplay between deep forest greens and vibrant lime accents to simulate the visual experience of fresh produce.
1. Logomark Dynamics
Iconography: The mark features two stylized chilies—one lime, one forest green—curved to form an abstract "tick" or smile. This creates a positive psychological association with choice and satisfaction.
Typography:
Primary: A custom hand-lettered script for "Green Chilli." The rough, brush-like edges suggest organic ingredients and human preparation rather than factory processing.
Secondary: A clean, rounded sans-serif for "Veg Restaurant" to ground the playful script with legibility.

2. Color & Materiality
Primary Palette: Vitality Green (darker, authoritative) and Zest Lime (lighter, energetic). This monochromatic depth implies a "garden-fresh" quality.
Eco-Packaging: We utilized Kraft paper textures for take-away packaging (fries boxes). The natural brown contrast against the green black logo reinforces the "organic/earthy" brand value.
Textiles: Staff aprons use a stark white base with the logo centered, projecting clinical cleanliness—a critical trust signal in food service.

3. Digital Experience (Menu UI)
Tablet Menu: A digitized ordering system designed for clarity.
Layout: We stripped away food photography to focus on typography and hierarchy. "Tandoor Starter" and "Chinese Starter" sections are clearly delineated using the brand's script font as headers.
Whitespace: Generous negative space ensures the menu is scannable, preventing decision fatigue for hungry diners.

4. Marketing Collateral
The "Triad" Campaign: Posters utilize a strong typographic hierarchy with the tagline "FRESH. FAST. TASTY." set in bold, capitalized sans-serif. This explicitly defines the brand promise.
Imagery: High-contrast photography of raw preparation (rolling dough) creates a "behind-the-scenes" connection with the customer.

A crisp, appetizing brand identity that scales effortlessly from a 2-inch badge to a digital tablet screen. The consistent use of the "Green on White" aesthetic establishes Green Chilli as a clean, modern destination for vegetarian dining.
